NUTRELA SHAHI PULAO   

 

1 cup Nutrela

½ tsp. cumin seeds

A small piece cinnamon stick

3-4 bay leaves

1 chopped onion

4 cups hot water

250 gm rice

4-5 cloves

2-3 black cardamoms

2 tsp. Ghee

2 diced tomatoes

 1.      Soak Nutrela and rice separately in water in water for about half an hour.

2.      Squeeze Nutrela add fry in ghee till brown. Keep aside

3.      Heat ghee, add cumin seed, cloves cinnamon bay leaves and cardamoms. Fry onions till brown.

4.      Add drained rice and fry for a while.

5.      Add Nutrela tomato, salt, garam masala and water.

6.      Cook until rice is done.

Garnish with fried cashew nuts and raisins as desired.
