NUTRELA BASIC FILLING    

1 cups Nutrela

Salt to taste

½ tsp. Garam masala

½ tsp. Mustard powder

1 chopped tomato

1 chopped onion

Water – ½ cup

1 tsp. Coriander powder

Ghee or oil for frying

¼ tsp. Chili powder

¼ tsp. Roasted cumin seed powder

A pinch of asafoetida

1 tsp.  chopped green coriander

1 Chopped green chili

a small piece of ginger

1 tsp. Dried mango powder

 

1.      Soak Nutrela in luke salted water for about 10-15 minutes and squeeze out. Grind coarsely.

2.      Heat oil. Fry asafoetida, cumin, mustard and onion. Add all spices and fry.

3.      Add salt, water and Nutrela paste. Cook until done and water dries up.

Note: Use this mixture for the preparation of many other recipes and increase quantities of spices.

1.      Use as vegatable.

2.      Prapre samosas, kachories, Tikki, Paratha, Bread Rollby mixing potato and peas.

3.      Mix Bengal gram flour with this mixture and prepare Koftas and stuffed vegetables like- brinjal capsicum and bitter gourd etc.

4.      Mix white flour or rice flour, green vegetables with this mixture and preapre vegetable cutlets.

5.      Prepare, non-vegetarian dishes by adding meat and eggs to mixture.
